Iran reduced the gap to 5-2 with the second goal but Bangladesh increased it to 6-2 and left the field with an easy victory.
Ashraful Islam scored a hat trick in Bangladesh's easy victory. The other goals were scored by Khorshedur Rahman, Mahbub Hossain and Roman Sarkar.
Bangladesh will play its last match against Oman on March 17. The outcome of that match will depend on which country will play the semifinals in the group stage.

Prime Bank's easy victory in the whirlwind of Mehdi-Rakibul
Incumbent champion Abahani Limited lost to newcomer Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club in Mirpur. However, Prime Bank Cricket Club, the title-seeking team, did not find another new City Club.
Prime Bank started its journey in the Premier League with a 50-run victory over BKSP.
Prime Bank and City Club met at BKSP, Savar. Batting first, Prime Bank lost 6 wickets in 50 overs and scored 265 runs. City Club were bowled out for 215 in 45.2 overs.
Playing for 28 runs, two openers Shahriar Komal and Tawfiq Khan Tushar combined to give City Club 42 runs in 8 overs. Left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan broke the tie by returning Tushar who scored 29 runs. Sheikh Mehdi Hasan returned another opener Komal (23).
After that Moinul Islam Sohail 31, Rajibul Islam 28 and captain Jawad Ruel played an unbeaten innings of 36 runs but City Club could not score more than 215 runs. Prime Bank left the field in the guise of a winner by bowling them out 26 balls earlier.
